Let’s be honest. It wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment idea.

We had podcasted before. Numerous times. And we had been wanting to get back into it. For years. But we couldn’t quite figure out how. Or we made excuses why we couldn’t. Or we over architected the concept to such an extent that it was untenable to even get it off the ground. Or… or… or…

But then, a variety of things sort of collided. And that, combined with a renewed desire for a creative outlet, inspired us to start. And so, three months ago, we started podcasting again.

And it’s been an absolute joy.

It’s not the most highly produced product. We’re still learning. And there are still some episodes that are not quite as good as they could be. It’s still very much a hobby. But we’re improving every single day.

The premise is simple: We have been privileged and humbled by the wealth of amazing people that we’ve had the chance to meet over the years. And we recognize that there are amazing people we don’t yet know, but who are a degree or two away from us. And we want to share how awesome those people are. And we want to highlight their stories.

It’s not a tech podcast. It’s not a Portland podcast. It’s a people podcast.

But it’s not just that. We’re also working to provide ways for you join us behind the scenes. We’re giving you insights into our struggles and our challenges. We’re sharing what we don’t know or where we’ve screwed up. And we’re looking for your honest feedback on how we’re building this thing. And what we could be doing better.

Long story short, you’re part of our production crew.

So if something like that sounds interesting to you, we’d love to have you join us on this journey. We’re on all of the fancy podcasty platforms, and we’re also on YouTube if that’s more your vibe. Or if you just want the random short-form video, here and there, we’re on Instagram. So please come hang out with us. I mean, if that’s your thing. No pressure.

Here’s looking forward to the next three months. We can’t wait to report back on where we’ve managed to go from here.
