It only took 16+ years

I’ve been writing about the Portland, Oregon, startup community for more than 16 years. And over that time, I’ve had the opportunity to document any number of interesting startups, founders, and events.

But as time has gone by, I’ve noticed that fewer and fewer people take time to read the articles I write or the newsletters that I publish on a weekly basis.

I don’t think it’s that people are any less interested or that the stories are any less compelling. I think it’s simply a matter of time—or the complete lack thereof—that most of us face in our modern frenetic world.

So to ensure that you’re staying up-to-date on everything happening in the Portland startup community, I’m trying a new experiment. I’ve started podasting. Again. Again again.

This podcast is designed to bring you up-to-date on everything happening in Portland startups, week to week. I’m planning to keep it short and sweet. So that you’ll have everything you need to know. Without having to slog through a bunch of my poorly constructed prose to do so.

So if keeping up on the Portland startup community is of interest to you, I’d invite you to give it a try. It’s currently available as both audio and video.

I hope this helps you feel more connected to the community without giving you yet another thing to do. And, as always, I’m interested to hear your feedback.
